At Thorndene our objective is to maintain high standards throughout the company, in accordance with local authority and the quality and safety required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and our own internal quality assurance processes. All our services, both residential care and supported living are CQC registered.
At the heart of Thorndene’s quality assurance procedures are the voices of those we support. Regular individual and community meetings are held to discuss the support provided, any issues that may need dealing with and to plan future activities. Formal reviews are held with individuals and others involved in their well-being to ensure the support given is appropriate to the individuals needs.
Good quality care and support is about maintaining and updating practices. Thorndene is committed to this and uses a number of organisations to achieve this, constantly reviewing best practice and new innovations in the field of social care.Thorndene continuously reviews it’s policies and practices to ensure they meet the needs of those we support and to meet regulatory requirements and standards as they change.
